Big Plans for Back to School

Hey everyone!

For the last few months, we’ve been working on a plan of action for the return to the classroom after the holidays. We know that this year is unlike any other, so it is important that we are proactive in getting the message out to parents that we have many well-equipped tutors who can help their children get back on track after a disrupted year of education.

A lot of our current marketing takes place behind the scenes with adverts through Google and social media, however we’re really pleased to announce that over the next few weeks we will be featured in The Telegraph, The Guardian, and on a selection of radio stations!

We’re so excited that we have the opportunity to spread the Tutorful name out there far and wide and we are confident it will convert into new registered students.

We just wanted to give you a quick update along with a heads-up to listen out for Tutorful the next time you’re in the car! We’ll be featured on Spotify, as well as:

Hallam FM
Hits Radio (Manchester)
Heart Four Counties
Heart Essex
Heart Kent

Thanks for that. It’s nice to know you’ve worked out how to make more money. When will the classroom work properly and how will students who NEED face to face teaching find us?

Hi @MrsP, over the years we have always put a lot into our marketing, our marketing campaigns help to bring students to Tutorful, which means we have more students for our tutors to teach. Ultimately, we work hard on our advertising to make sure you have the best chance at growing your own business and having a good client base. We have never shied away from this and have always been transparent in the fact that we invest a lot of the platform fee back into our marketing, advertising tutors and driving students to the site - we want to make sure you always have work!

We’re really excited about this radio campaign as it’s the first time we’ve been able to do something on this scale, and we hope it will open a lot of opportunities for our tutors - online tuition means students from all over the UK are now available to everyone, which increases the likelihood of you getting more bookings.

I’m really sorry to hear you’ve been having issues with our online classroom - our support team is always happy and willing to help and we would always encourage you to get in contact if you have any problems. Hopefully you have been able to see through this forum that our Product Team are always on the lookout for feedback and improvement suggestions and consistently take these on board. We absolutely want the classroom to work as it should in your lessons - we understand how important this is and we are here to support you when things don’t work quite how they should!

As discussed previously on the Community, in-person lessons are no longer available to new students through Tutorful. However, we have been actively speaking with tutors who expressed concerns around online learning working for students with particular needs and from this, we have been looking at what we can do to support those students in accessing tuition online.

Very good. There’s a timely need and opportunity esp for y11 and y13 students for crammer tutoring up to final exams in summer’22. For many, their 20/21 year has been a waste and we can help them get it back in spades.
